The wait is almost over. Today we are supposed to get the final mix of audio back from our audio engineer Roy Yokelson at Antland Productions. After that The Great Heist is being submitted to festivals! Stay tuned.
Impending Premiere
At long last we are having the world premiere of The Great Heist at 7:00PM on Wednesday, 12th May 2010.
Log line: The carefully planned robbery of an armored car begins to unravel when the four conspirators cannot agree on what is a proper Scottish accent.
We would like to invite everyone to come out to watch the film with us. The screening will be part of the Filmmaker's Forum event at the Multi Media Arts Center in Bloomfield, NJ. This was also our first shooting location for the film. In addition to our film (running time 10:30) we will be screening another short film that was also shot at the MMAC and a few more short films that I have made. Please RSVP so we know how many to expect. heistscreening@brainsplinter.com

Bottleneck
I was supposed to have the final audio mix back from the audio engineer yesterday. He said he only had three hours sleep the night before, lost his cell phone, and had to prepare for an audio lecture he is teaching tonight. So add two or three days for the final mix. Independent filmmaking at its finest. The bottleneck just keeps moving around.
